Angel was a so wanted baby by all, apart from her dad who wanted me to terminate the pregnancy when I found out I was pregnant. But at 36 and soon to be 37 and no children, no way could I terminate the pregnancy. I had a great pregnancy, and at routine midwife app at 41 weeks, my worst fears were confirmed, my baby had no heartbeat, was sent straight up to hospital and they couldnt find a heartbeat either, was sent for a scan as midwife said maybe baby lying in an awkward position. Scan confirmed and the doctor said am sorry you're baby as no heartbeat. I went home that day and returned the next morning to be induced. After two long days my beautiful baby girl was stillborn at 03:29 hours weighing in at a healthy 7lb 8oz on 10 April 2009(GOOD FRIDAY). How I wished she would cry. The pain of labour was nothing compared to the pain of losing her. I decided to call her Angel, and I hope my little Angel is watching over me.
